Very nice. I've got a SR22 on the way and was just going to Krylon it tan but now you've got me thinking. Who did your work? Is the process expensive?

Just for those pieces alone cost me $257.00 shipping included. I got the work done by Barrett at Arma-Coat, you can find him under the name "Murdoc" on this site and his links are under the dealers tab above.

I got him to do them up because the Krylon job had done in Tan, didn't come out looking very good and chipped very easily.

That's sick! nice nice nice!!! I really don't mind that the shade doesn't match. It gives this rifle its own personality!

$257!? Holy sheet! I think I'm gonna stick with Krylon and a can of matte clear coat.

Mad props to you for doing so despite the high cost. It looks great.

This is my freshly modified Remington 597 VTR. still have to tread the barrel and install the flash hider but it is almost done ! :dancingbanana: Just cant wait to shoot it . It is still new and unfired !

That's a Beaut.

What kit is that?

No Kit ! I had the barrel reduced in diameter (turned on a lathe) to fit the regular AR front sight post and flash hider. replaced the complete handguard by an AR one, replaced the picatinny rail by a longer one (some hand fitting required) so it fit the rear sight handle correctly and made a spacer out of composite fiber black plastic to fill the gap between the rail and the receiver (at the back).

I modified the regular 10 rnds magazine with a steel airsoft MP5 magazine which is about the right size ( needed some JB weld) and it is about it. The magazine still hold only 10 rnds but the look as improved !

Now I am waiting for my 1/2X28 die (in the mail) to make the tread at the muzzle and install the birdcage flash hider. I am also considering a fake supressor which would make it look like a supressed shorty .

Well I finally got it! My Conservative Majority Gun is here!!! Ordered it about 3 hours after I left the Victory Party for Dean Del Mastro here Peterborough! :D

What sling is that? I have a remington VTR, and my forward sling swivel stripped out. So something like that would work well for me

Thats the Condor 2 bungee single point sling

The best price I found in Canada was at Fabsports.ca

You and me both, I got the same plate as you, but just yesterday ordered a tool to remove nut so I can install it - also ordered a RSA for the front so I can run 2-point.
