Hey guys, i am considering a 1911 in .45 but i cant seem to find any places with ammo IN STOCK, any suggestions for qt 500 or 1000? I did hit the search button before creating this, we can call it a "refresh post" lol Cheers
Makes sense..45ACP is often hard to find, in my experience. All you can do is shop around and jump on it when you find some. It would be easier to recommend some shops if you said where you are located.

Yes sir!"...am in QC Montreal..." Add that to your profile.
You're likely running into Quebec's anti-firearms government. You tried Le Baron's?
Buying ammo on-line is pricey when the shipping is tacked on. Reloading is your best bet.
Nice, i will look it up for sure.Start with a copy of The ABC's of Reloading. Rocket science it ain't.
Good ideaCall Dante's, worst they can say is out of stock.
Yea well it was a project i had in the near future, to learn how to reload, but i guess i might be learning the process earlier than expectedFriend, you may not want to hear this, but 45 ACP is by far the easiest pistol ammo to handload for IMHO.
It seems these days any factory ammo starting with at least a 4 is more apt to drain you wallet faster than others.
Good luck in your search.

Good for you! This can only add to your skills/knowledge and when the reloading gear is quickly paid off, this also adds up to more trigger time for you for less cash payout. More trigger time means the end result of better shooting.Nice, i will look it up for sure.
Good idea

I'm not that deep into it yetOP, note that this is WinClean ammo and it uses small pistol primers instead of the usual large pistol primers. If you plan to reload this brass you will need to segregate it and keep it from any other .45 brass you collect to avoid mixing the primer sizes.
