Cz 97b(d)

't compete in IPSC.

I see no reason going the 97bd route vs. 97b. Other than you can get a 2nd strike on the ammo if the 1st hammer strike doesn't cause it to fire. Doesn't happen that often with factory ammo.

.

Both the 97B and 97BD offer 2nd strike capability.

The BD will give you a slighty shorter and lighter DA pull. With the 97BD the mainspring is slightly tensioned.

OF the two the 97B will be more common and I suspect the BD will be difficult if not impossible to find up here in Canada.

Take Care

You forgot to mention the 97B is available with slightly different finishes, & the BD has rubber grips.

And I haven't seen a 97BD for sale here yet (but doesn't mean they aren't available), as I'm seriously contemplating buying a CZ-97 also.

97BD ~ Surface treatment ~-~ black polycoat

97B ~ Surface treatment ~-~ glossy blue; silver polycoat; two-tone; black polycoat

Where did u read this about the different finishes I was only aware of the silver and black polycoat. I like the rubber grips but I'm thinking of getting some custom ones made any suggestion for someone who make them?
