Homemade .22 Reactive Targets Post Yours

Just figured I would share these maybe give you guys some ideas.

Let me know what you think and post up some of your own.

First is a 25% IPSC torso with hostage plate swinger
And second is a "Walking jack" you shoot it and it moves backwards

Have seen a video of those walking jacks, but its pretty sweet. I agree with CKWang.

Yeah, I got the idea off of rimfire central for the walking jacks, I wish I came up with it

Through these on the burm as they work great when you hit them cause they usally flip/flop around.

Not many gophers my way this year for some reason, not sure if it was the wet weather or all the damn badgers. Those walking targets look like a lot of fun, time to get out the welder.

Awesome walking target. Last weekend I was thinking of some way to build them. I've see commercial version using rod as the arms but it looks like yours would be easier to build for me.

Now I just need to look at what I need to build some small pop-up targets.

Could you post the dimensions of the Walking Jack? Diameter of the disc, length from arm weld to tip of disk, width of arm at the weld, width of arm at the disc? That should be enough for other members to draw and manufacture.

I think that would be a super fun toy.

That would be perfect. It would also give us a chance to experiment with the design a bit to match what we have for materials (aka, scrap metal behind the shed)
