As for writing.. indeed and sadly the vast majority don't even get off their ass to send an email :mad:

Ok here how it works..

5.56 and other miltary calibers block.. remark it 308 or 223 good to go..

Threaded barrel block
under 18.5 inch barrel block it...
Baynet lug Block..

So if a gun maker makes it 18.5 with no threaded barrel flash hider ect no baynet lug its good to go.. other then that blocked..

That's cool that you're taking the extra time and effort to sell guns up here and I'm sure I cannot appreciate how much effort actually goes into that, but don't make us out to sound like we're some charity case.

I agree with you entirely. That is why I said that option was last and absolutely the worst, then put an angry face behind it. Sorry I did not make myself more clear.

Thanks for reminding me. I began a letter to my MP a couple of weeks ago, then forgot all about it.

I've been told that old-fashioned letters, on paper, get the most respect from politicians, emails the least. They just get too many of them to pay any attention. Worse, most of those are cut and paste form letters -- one person writes them, the rest just copy and the politician knows he can safely ignore the message.

I will post when I have sent my letter but will include only the gist of it, not the exact words. That way anyone who wishes to write a similar letter will have to think about what he or she really wants and put it in his or her own words.

As far as I see it, they are good quality materials & workmanship but in the end, it's just a metal shape. I can't pring myself to buy scope mounting hardware for the price of the scope. You can get the Lawoo chinese knockoffs for a tenth the price. :cool:

Bull#### son, the best most effective way to fight back is to ignore the government which the majority of Canadians do quite well.

You were clear.. but to ensure there is no possible confusion aligning any of us with lunatics like those is definitely of extreme importance IMO.

Old fashioned letters they MUST respond to.... including "form" versions... emails they don't however.

Not to mention the Lawoo's do not require the same level of insane paperwork to get. (Whomever rejected the offer for CDN to be exempt from such needs his/her ass kicked :mad:)

Not sure how you take that to sound like charity. Sounds to me like Kevin hasn't forgotten where he came from despite the fact he now has all sorts of cool toys to play with and probably has enough to do without the hassle of trying to export rifles here.
