Crossman American Classic 1377 for bunnies?

Hope the beaver remark was a joke. Let's not forget, these guns are made for plinking/knocking over pop cans, etc. I had a friend who had the 1322 and yes, seemed to hit harder. Always wished mine was a .22. Either way, unless the "game" is no bigger than a squirrel, you're probably OK. I'd stress, lots of practice with the ammo you plan on hunting with and again, get a 1399 stock and/or scope on it. The sights are pretty crude.

i find its good enough the way it comes i fliped my sight around to the peep and i can shoot 1 hole groups at 10 yards

in fact i wish i had it on a vid but i split a pellet on a hatchet head took a few shot but i did it

the crosman pointed pellets work the best in mine

its the only pellet gun i have that will pop the center out of a toonie :)

the crows, starlings, and sparrows sure dont like it

I'd limit hunting to small birds, 495fps. doesn't cleanly kill anything larger, even my 1000fps Diana .177 pellet guns tend to wound game.

what kind of pellets are you using

mine shoots right into the lungs or hart of a squirrel ive found some on the ribs on the other side with crosman pointed pellets once i get the new seals in mine i'll do some test and put up some vids

but squirrel is where i'd limit it

Yes you are right its a ground hog and the punk already ate ost of my beans and started with the salad. i will just figure it out, i might have to trap it but the weasel has already ate all the fish and is not returning untill we stock the pond again. already trapped a possom and had to dump it near the lake

Likely a mink or otter got your fish. They along with blue herons love stocked ponds..............Harold

Used one of these years ago to kill gophers at about 7-10 yards range. Spilled milk always brought them in close & I had an advantage of a comfortable wait in a long outbuilding.
One had to make head shots though for a clean kill though.
For the life of me I cannot remember if it was 177 or 22 calibre.
