Tell us what was the first ever shotgun you ever bought

A J.C. Higgins "dial a choke" 12 ga semi-auto!

Still have it, but I use it to teach PAL courses as it is a pretty unique configuration with the changable choke.

19 years old, walked into the local Co-op store, bought the last break action 16 guage they had, no questions asked at that time. Don't remember the brand but I can tell you it was North American built.

Remington 870 Express, probably the first and last shotgun I'll ever own.

I had a Win1200 defender for a while, not a bad little gun. I traded that for my 10/22 SS and never looked back though.

I bought a Wingmaster at a police auction for $50.00 This would have been early eighties. I don't have it any more.

my "first" was a cooey 840 it was my dads and i basicly clamed it by using it way more than he ever did :p first one ive bought was a 12ga bolt action . i still own both

Mine was a Cooey Model 840 12 gauge. I only put four rounds through it and then sold it to a friend of mine because the recoil was too much for me to handle. He enjoys it to this day. Now I own a 20 gauge Model 48 Topper made in Drummondville, Quebec.

Mossberg M590 with factory ghost ring sights. Added a Mossberg barrel shroud for extreme LCF. Awesome gun and great shooter.

M9 bayonet, standard black web sling and elastic 5 rd shell holder on the butt puts the entire package over the top.

Too bad the BATFE won't allow me to bring it into the States. Might have to sell it here.

A Cooey 84 12 ga. I bought it at a household auction sale when I was 13 or 14, walked home across town with it. Nobody even batted an eye. That would have been around 1961 or 1962. Paid $12 or $13 for it, cleaned me out!! It got so it would break open when I fired it. The last time I fired it, we couldn't find the empty hull.

When I was 14 I was given an old 870 Wingmaster by an old friend of the family.
I believe it was built in the 70's, she has seen over 1000rds and only broken down once to give a good cleaning.
