BCRA Tactical Rifle Championship 2011?

Just got home from todays shoot....tired but had a great day! Will have lots of pics on Sunday. Julietlima was snapping away as well so I bet he'll have some up. MAN those dots of doom pissed me off this year!!!

This was my first time and my usual inability to read wind plus an equipment SNAFU on the last day put me at the back of the pack but I had a great time - really good to reconnect with some old faces and meet some new, an excellent location and a challenging course of fire. Well done to all the competitors and a big thanks to Ed and all the others involved in the organisation . I will be back for sure - may not shoot any better but I will return :)

Hello All,

Folks we are just taking a breath here and will have results and thank you's in just a little bit ..... HOWEVER I would like to thank Ryan Stacey , Mike Bergen , and John Gummmmmminey , for rising to the occasion and helping with RSO duties during the shoot . My Diabetic feet thank you as I am sure I could not have managed to RSO all 4 days and still stand never mind walk back and forth across the line , once again gents thank you . Full match results and statements will be forth coming

Pictures?

I would have posted pics by now but I am busy sending emails to every competitor asking them what type of rifle, scope and caliber they where using.

When I have this info I will graph and pie chart it so I can post interesting graphics.

Once I can see trends I will break it down by bullet velocity and the actual magnification setting used for each shot cross referenced to spotting scope type and actual magnification used to spot.

Then it will be a simple matter of factoring in temperature and barometric pressure on a minute by minute basis.

I figure this will distill it to the point where I can graph in the use of boxers or jockeys and whether or not fuzzy socks where worn.

:D

Don't over do it. Pictures would be nice though. :)
