OMG, my Badass Red Smg (BRS-99) has arrived , thanks to the staffs at lanz for smooth and prompt service also to my parcel posty for going back to work .
first impression .
-exterior, painted black, made mostly of sheet metal , some plastic, well made but there was file markings in front of the front sight block which is a hood type as oppose to the wing type on earlier models. the rear sight has two types, one is like the VZ with a marking of 75, the other is a aperture , which i much prefer.
the rail is a good thing for old eyes like mine, the iron sight can still be used when a RD is mounted on it.
-picked it up , light , well balance , i can see arnold shooting it like a pistol in terminator.
grip is thick but when holding with both hands it feel good.
-controls, the non-foldable cocking handle , bolt hold , safety switch and buttstock lock all located on the left side. the selector is kinda tiny , not design for the right thumb, using the the left hand was cumbersome . no problem using the right thimb for the bolt hold lever and mag catch. the buttstock is the wire type , it just slide back and tilt and locked in place, very fast and probably a wee bit more comfy than the VZ standard folder.
-disassembly, super easy, easy to remove top cover and then the internals slides back and out. i havent tried the trigger group nor the bolt yet but i did remove the barrel , very easy and idiot proof.
-internals, half of the bolt surrounds the barrel , thats why its compact , moved by two skinny main springs . looks easy to clean.
-the system , straight blowback system, works on a closed bolt and a hammer. it wont fire if the bolt is not in close position and thats a good thing.
-package, it came with 4 mags and mag pouch, hoster, cleaning kit, booklet and a sling, i havent figured the sling as im old school, i'll ask my son when he comes home from work, i hear him now.
i still havent figured out some stuff like the rubber plug on the right side of the HG, i assume the screw cap is for the flash light or lazer .

, but I really want the csa 7.5" to complete my CZ family. I have the 18.6", 15.5", 11 3/4" and needed this. Considering I didnt really use the BRS that much I thought it would be time to sell.
