Hello from your local friendly firearms lawyer

We all hate scumbags, but a lawyers duty is represent his client and believe or at least put disbelief aside as to the validity of their innocence.. Who do you want to decide whether someone deserves legal council and who doesn't? Sure, it would be easy sometimes, but then you start going down the slippery slope my friend (the road to hell is paved with good intentions .etc.) Besides, it's the courts duty to find guilt or innocence not the council for the defence.

Maybe you should speak nice nice to the moderator and make some sticky to post for the most common ( asked everyday) gun/legal question. However, Canadians are being screwed over from Law Enforcement for laws of perception, rather than laws of thier intended nature. You can make a fortune in Canada.

In this case its great to have a lawyer around that can wade in on various firearms regulations. Its also good to have a phone contact handy for consultations if they arise. Do you have a call service or an associate that would take calls on weekends or during silent hours ?

Last weekend, after being pulled into Canada customs when returning from Ogdensburg USA, I thought I might have an issue with Canada customs and a spanking new Daisy B.B gun. After some scary accusations, and some considerable handwringing on thier part, I ended up getting it through no problem. At the time, however, I thought " holy crap," I wish I had the name of a good lawyer.

I certainly take calls outside of office hours from individuals requiring urgent legal advice.

I hope we never have to meet officially but it's very reassuring to know that there's a "local" gun-friendly and gun-laws-wise lawyer within a 5km radius (or at least the -613- area code.)

Really though, the best firearms friendly precedent isn't going to come from normally law-abiding Joe Smith who gets charged for leaving his certificates at home. It is going to come from the scumbag criminal who just also happens to be breaking a dozen other unrelated laws at the same time as packing a firearm.
