Heres the situation.
Ive got an old FINN captured SVT40 that was butchered by Globe in the 70s.
Now it looks complete as I reinstalled the muzzlebrake, and stuff, but underneath has a chopped barrel and does not work the action well.
Another negative is that it is just a mixed parts gun. And without the barrel will never retain a cleaning rod, or latch. lots of bad.lol
So......i was thinking with all the cheap SVTs out right now, would it be worth it to grab one, and put all of its parts on my SA marked reciever? And have at least a functioning finn svt or not bother?
I figure i could recoup a third of the cost at least by selling the mag and some other parts on the one i buy, as I already have two rifles, with full mags and all other parts, or just leave it as a wall hanger and shoot my other one.
