New portable shooting table

Tried out my uncle (240gord) and I's new portable shooting table. And even better from the back of the truck. We just pulled up to our 900 yd spot and we were good to go!

Very stable and rotates very easily like your sitting on a turret.

Is that a "think gun safety" sticker with a can of beer on top?

I bought one a few years ago from Alberta Tactical Rifle.

Most will be along to complain about how much they are (were?) and say you can make something cheaper and better.

They are a great unit and a shame that they are no longer available.
We brought in quite a few over the years. My own bench is 7 years old and I love it for its ease of transport and the solid shooting platform it gives.

yea i thought it was illeagal to shoot from a truck/car. even to lean a loaded gun on one.

I do not have a picture of it but it is fairly simple to build. The piece that goes into the hidden hitch goes straight out and has a piece going up off it for the seat and another piece going up off it for the table part. Very basic but works well. It is light enough that 1 guy can put in on himself. I'm a welder myself and will probably fab one up one of these days but I still prefer to do most of my shooting lying down anyway.

So they're not in business anymore....too bad. Is there an alternative to the Big Shooter bench? I'd like something similar if such a bench exists.

RCBS makes the RASS. Pretty skookum unit but pricey

If you look in Sportsmansguide canada, they've got a few portable tables for under $100.

I have built about five now, two were mounted on a car hauler trailer for gopher hunting. The only addition for those ones were umbrella holders behind the boat seat.
