Savage Model 12 Long Range Precision in 260 Rem

Where is a good place to go/contact to get one of these in for someone living in Calgary? (PM if you'd prefer)



I agree with TB: There's not much in the way of competition for this rifle from any other manufacturer. Solid setup.
 
Got mine from ellwood epps about 2 weeks ago for about that price. Yet to get it to the range though. Maybe give them a try they wer good to deal with.
 
Did someone received one of those Savage Model 12 Long Range Precision in 260 Rem?

I have one in order since May and now the ETA I received yesterday is December...

Try FM sports in Cambridge. You can find his info on the dealer section on the FN sports website.

A few years back I bought a Savage LRPV repeater which no one had in stock yet he had it to me in 2 weeks.

Looking forward to mine arriving....

There is an article about this rifle in 6.5 CM in a recent Petersons Rifleshooter magazine.

800 yard 5 shot group was 3" or so.
 
Hi Kevin, yes I received the rifle, very happy with it. Next step is to get it scoped and test some load. But this will take some time since we don't know what scope we will put on this nice rifle... I ordered this rifle for my father and he want to do some target shooting but he also want to be able to do long range hunting with it. So this is why we didn't choose the scope yet.
