NEA-15 First Official Picture Release

So i guess its safe to say that if we opened a #### site you would not subscribe?

pay for ####? people do that? :D

no honestly i'm impressed by the slab side rails, keeps the machining steps down (and thus cheaper) but still gives the quad rail look that everyone wants. i know i wouldnt have come up with that solution.

im across the country, but if you need pictures send me a pm, im happy to do it.

I think the pics were pretty good as a teaser. Remember people - the final product is still over a month away.

NEA - I do say that the next pics should be the final consumer product as we will get it.

7.5, 10.5 and 14.5 STANDARD models. I know seeing aimpoints and buis is nice - but I would like to see what will be arriving in my mailbox when my pre-order ships.

Also, what was said above about those slab sides being perfect for laser atching or machining is spot on! Toss a logo on there too - even if small. Later on make an option to have whatever u want milled in ur handguard, etc for a fee.

I wish you guys all the best and can't wait for my 10.5 standard.

Mike

I'm assuming that with the orders they have received they would be in full blown production mode now and all the specs would be ironed out.

I'm sure making this stuff is a bit different from printing magazines or stamping game dvd's (which typically begins 3 months or so before big releases).

I promise we will make it up to everyone the first week of Oct with NEA launch parties at several dealers, which will include raffles for a pile of NEA product..... 100% of the proceeds being sent to Wounded Warriors.[/QUOTE]

Do you have an Edmonton dealer yet? I have mine on pre-order from OST, but would certainly partake in any Edmonton launch festivities :D

And that is the kind of statement I like to hear. No fluff, no snarky comebacks, and no flogging of a product that isn't done yet......just fact. Your counterpart could learn something from you..

You know, we're so busy we hardly know what's going on anymore. I'm so stressed these days I could kick a baby. ;) We have so much on the go and this rifle is our priority. I know it doesn't seem like it at times, but I don't think most people understand what is involved in seeing a project like this through.. on top of trying to maintain inventory and sales through to our dealers on our existing line.

But we're committed to seeing this through. All things considered I think we're doing well and we're on track to provide a excellent end product. We're excited with what we have, our clients are as well. And we'd like to show our hand right away, but for many reasons we can't always do that.

Are we a little twitchy and on edge... hell yes. But we're doing the best we can.

The pictures submitted to Canadian Black Rifle Mag were from some images collected for a Law Enforcement sale and shows the configuration they are getting, hence the Aimpoint and tac Light. It is not a final commercial quality shot. It was "something" rather than nothing.. and often when we try and give an update we get hit with the negatives. Not criticism of the product, but in the manner it is delivered, the quality of the media, where it was released, how, etc, etc.. It is these reasons that every time we have something that we'd like to share as an update we struggle with it, trying to decide if it is worth the BS that will result just so we can update our customers.

I'm sure you can see why at times with all that we are doing and trying to provide why at times we come across a little rough. All we want to do is provide a great product at a great price. And we're sorry that every aspect of our work is not 100% to everyones liking. We spend our time in the shop and the office.. not on a camera.

Regardless, I hope this delivers a little insight at to where we are coming from and what we're trying to achieve. We welcome criticism of our products, it helps us produce a better item. We just don't have the time to defend the unimportant matters like camera angles or, whom we support outside of CGN.

That being said we have taken a new approach to our marketing department, and we hope that these new changes will solve a lot of these small issues.

I want one so bad :)

Now, I'm an AR noob. This will be my first....
That being said, a friend of mine that has a 20" barrelled AR tells me to get one with a longer barrel, as the 7.5" and 10.5" ARs are not reliable without a gas piston. Is there any truth to this?

Thanks :)

I LOVE that marketing plan. Very aggressive. I can tell this because it's drawn in RED crayon.

Kidding aside... that magwell is going to look sick with the NEA Griffin on it!

hmm, why no love for the aussies, and west africa? Where I'm going to be I'd like a 7.5 for to and fro work...considering what just happened to the compound.

Sorry, but the photography of that marketing plan is sub par, the lighting is poor and the use of a red crayon was a poor choice. If you really cared about the Canadian market, you would have made it a more vibrant colour.

I am a professional crayon artist, so I am very fussy about these things.

Rifle looks good though.

There's no market in Australia unfortunately. We have some governmental interest, but they won't make it into civi hands. However we have a pile going to their Kiwi brothers.
