How many CGN'ers are waiting for the Ruger SR1911? Finally getting those beauties to Canada should push Ruger closer to the million mark.

No one I know of is taking pre-orders. I keep asking a few dealers and they say they are waiting on shipments from Ruger, with no ETA. What I'm hearing now is not to expect anything before fall, if someone were taking pre-orders in the greater Vancouver area I would be all over it.

Nope, not "waiting" for one.

They will be here in numbers eventually. I'll likely get one then.

Two have come up in the EE and been sold quick. I happened to be on line & doing some work in the EE when the second one was posted. Could've been the first with the "I'll take it" PM but didn't. I think it was gone in about 10 mins.
