Can the trigger pull be adjusted on a savage model 93R17?
If so how?
Thanks, Shane

After a few requests, here are the Savage trigger shim details.
Remember when dealing with triggers.....

I though they where all accutrigger. I know mine is the most basic except for the heavy barrel and it has accutrigger.
according to the savage site all 93r17 currently produced have the accu-trigger
I am thinking of a Rifle Basix trigger to see what that will be like and if it gets me where I want to be.
I seem to recall reading somewhere that using those triggers will make your rifle into a strictly target only rifle. It seems because of how light it can go, knocking the rifle and make it go off.
I'll see if I can find that post ... but I could be wrong.
I shimmed mine as well, and the trigger now breaks a lot nicer than it did before, but I never tried the spring mod at all ... I may have too just to see how it performs after. I still want to be able to take mine out hunting with me and not worry about having it go off slamming the bolt into battery ... lol![]()
