You might want to try loading a 148gr HBWC upside down if you like violent expansion.Out of a 4" S+W 10 at 100 yards they would go through one side of a 45gallon drum and leave a nice welt on the other mushroomed to about .75 caliber..................Harold....this manstopper load was used by Texas Border Patrol in their 2 " .38 snubbies
 
All sorts of fun to be had with an accurate pistol cartridge!
Only potential weakness may be the 1:16" twist.

I would like to shoot 158-225gr. Bullets at moderate speeds.

Thought about it but figured it would have severe leading issues due to the higher velocities.
