Damn. Hopefully it's here before the spring gopher onslaught. I really want to see what a 110gr JHP will do to a varmint out of a rifle-length barrel.

You might want to try loading a 148gr HBWC upside down if you like violent expansion.Out of a 4" S+W 10 at 100 yards they would go through one side of a 45gallon drum and leave a nice welt on the other mushroomed to about .75 caliber..................Harold....this manstopper load was used by Texas Border Patrol in their 2 " .38 snubbies

Thought about it but figured it would have severe leading issues due to the higher velocities.

I am not so sure this twist rate will stabilize heavy bullets going slow.(1000fps or so)
But it might.
Whats your thoughts on this?
