Heres mine next to a plain Jane Glock 20.

Something I noticed is that the front post is purposely set off to the right. Misanthropist had mentioned that earlier though that was on a surplus Mak. I am sure it's for a reason it just seems a little odd.

What was the "freebie" for waiting?

I got mine, I'll leave the surprise for Teapot to share though. He was very apologetic (keep in mind I met him in person). I didn't mind honestly, I expected it. I have been waiting close to and well over a year for guns from much larger dealers on CGN. I have plenty of other things going on to keep me occupied. Anyone crying over a month should really get a life. Just my opinion though.

The CP mail fairy dropped this off today:

The trigger is pretty rough as it comes, but cleaning the storage gunk off and using real lube helped, along with a few dozen dry fire pulls. It should smooth out nicely with some use. DA is medium heavy at most with a decent break point, SA is somewhat creepy but also has a noticeable break on it. As with B's, the safety/hammer drop is very stiff. I gave it a drop of CLP and worked it a bit and it improved, so I imagine it just needs some use to settle in. The frame finish looks like parkerizing and the slide is blued. It does not rival a SIG for fit and finish, but I didn't expect it to as a reasonably priced service pistol.

As soon as I track down some ammo I will post a range report if no one else has at that point. Now I need more mags, new grips and a decent holster for it. Anyone have a lead on holsters?

WTF??? I received my bills but the parcel didn't come. :(

It will say "item out for delivery" tomorrow when it hits the carrier's mail bag. It must have just missed the bag today, with processing at 07:58. Just for reference, mine was processed in Calgary at 00:51 this morning in order to make it into the mail for delivery in Airdrie, just outside Calgary.

does anyone know if the lanyard loop of the left pistol grip is removable or not??

Dont really want it there considering I am a lefty, if it is non removable I might not be interested in it anymore.

It is on the grip, not the frame. Change the grips and it goes away. Have a look at B's with the aftermarket grips.

I'm trying to import this from Russia. Is it ok or you would be more interested in army style?

Looks good for me. Cost estimate?

No notice card... I hate CP.

FWIW, I like the leather pancake - but make sure you get a few lefty models (for guys like me) as well!

I suspect the big giant Baikal logo and model markings are just areas where the blueing was burnt off with a laser. If so, I might hot-dip re-blue my slide. Not a fan of those massive markings at all ;)
