Kel Tec SU16F review

So, I've installed the flash hider with set screws and the AR front sight assembly required shimming, but both hold well and do the job without affecting the warranty. Changed the take down pin and that should about do it..............for now:D

what is the total weight of the su16 with the ar stock and for grip? has anyone weighed theirs yet? it would have been nice if the screw on the corner of the mag well where the stock and the front pivots was removable so this thing was a takedown gun instead of a gimped folder with the AR kit. or does it?

Thatz a great idea. A detent quick release pin instead of a double screw. As for the wieght with the AR stock it is 5.8 lbs.
 
They really are quite nice.
I love mine.
4.9 lbs out of the box without mags.
I put the pistol grip stock and an IOR CQB on mine.
Want a Red Lion foregrip.
 
I need rings, but I have a falcon 1.5-5x scope for it.
Currently sighting it in with some 3-9(10?)nightforce scope that came with another rifle.

Even the normal scope fits well on it.

2-7x32 Redfield with a piggy back MDRS on a QD Weaver Rail. Or some times I feel frisky and swap it up with my Weaver QD rail that has the ARMS new flip up's with my Insight MRDS & yes on this set-up it's damm light!
