What do you think about this AR opinions please
They are quite accurate but they are not light. As a DMR or semi auto precision platform they are a lot of bang for the buck compared to 5-6K system like KAC and Swiss arms. With the SS barrel I will feel that I am on equal ground if I have to compete against other shooters who show up with HK762 and KAC SR25. The design is also battle proven by the Brits now.
It's been purchased by a number of other Foreign Militaries as well as being used by some areas within the US Military.

The LMT is very accurate (mine is a CL 16"), but definitely does not shoot as smooth as the SR-25 EMC or the SAPR. Also is heavier (10.5lbs vs. 8.75lbs, on a postal scale) and not as well balanced relative to the SR-25.
For the price, it is 80% the gun of an EMC.
Really now do tell.

For the price, it's very difficult to beat. Outside of tuned and rebarrled DPMS/Armalite rifles.80% of the gun at half the price. I'm coo with that...
As krausb stated, I own both. You know that for sure, or is just another Rumor, How do you know for sure that the SR25 are smoother rifle than the LMT?, did you actually shoot both rifle?, are both rifle same barrel length? I can agree that if you were to shoot the SR25 with a Muffle sure it be smoother.
These Rifle are very impressive, I am temp to get a LMT 308 as Questar have it on sales for $2700.
if you wanted a more effective test, everything from Muzzle brake to buffer system should be the same.
Myself and Paulinski should have a comprehensive review of the LMT done soon. His will be wearing a Nightforce 2.5-10x32 (for accuracy), and mine will be dressed in an Acog 6x (should be here in a few days) similar to the L129A1. I've got about 12 different types of ammo to send downrange. The review will be along the same lines as my PWS mk110 review.
Please share where you sourced out the 6x Acog
The MWS with a 16" chromed bore is a consistant 2moa gun.
Guys will bleat on about sub-moa at 100 - but that is for the most part luck.
