Ok, thanks guys. I'm still kind of unsure though. According to Harbl bigger would not fit. Yet earlier in this thread someone mentionned that they slipped the plates into a condor vest which is advertised as having 10x13 plate pouch. The UTG is 17x13 at front and 16x10 in the back. Confusing. I'm tall but skinny (6'5" - 195lbs) so I probably don't want the very smallest plates. The Zombie Apocalypse is quickly approaching so I've got to make up my mind soon. LOL!!!!!!![]()
Mine was just 2-3 days. Frontier has been suprisingly efficient in regards to shipping... with me so far anyway.
Xtra large has two 10"wide x 12" high plates.
If that helps.
Nobody else has these plates from different-sized carriers and a tape measure?
Bueller?

Just ordered 2 good condition mediums for me and the missus (they didn't have any smalls). It's an anniversary gift honey!!!
I'm sure she'll think I'm crazy as usual.
anything with come out, if you use a razor.
I bought two for disection.
You can actually cut it out of the carrier.
Inside is the softarmour glued to ceramic plate inside another cover.
If you cut them out out of that cover, then you can access the plates, and soft armour. if you use brute force, flathead and some leverage, you can cam the plate from the soft armour.
I suppose that this stuff could fit inside modern plate / armour carriers. The soft armour would have to be trimmed to BALCS template. Good luck trying to find a pair of shears that will cut through kevalr.
BUt all the sweat, not sure if its worth it.
I could measure mine while inside the carrier... my carrier is in such nice shape, I haven't had the heart to hack it up for fashions sake. Cancel that, mine's a large.
What do they measure when in the carrier, if you don't mind me asking? If they're smaller than the X-Large measurements above, we'll have our answer...
