Third Annual FRPC Multigun

I'm just trying to figure out my final gear setup. As I understand it we'll not be shooting, for instance pistol and carbine on the same stages, ie no transitions. Is that the case. I don't really have the perfect setup to load up for everything at once.

any restrictions on trigger pull or modifications, like standard class ipsc pistols ? as long as the holster and mag pouches are more concealed type ?

Trigger work smoothing, and safe pull weight reductions are ok.

this match I'll be running my G19, Norc M4 (sold the armalite), 12 ga. Defender.. and my Bar .300 winmag for the rifle part...will use some chest rig setup I got from shooters gear...for some of the M4 and shotgun rnds...

This gear will do you well.

You will be using two or even three firearms per stage. Everything I need to carry to cover the highest round count stage will fit in a pair of my cargo pants or on my belt, you don't need fancy to have fun.

One of the guys who shoots with us has shown up with his lever gun and a side X side and has cleaned house. He uses his pockets to store his ammo.

Since we are not using ESP, SSP, CDP, etc. I presume we can put 10 rounders in our 1911 .45s?

Says who?

And chest rigs/plate carriers, thigh holsters, etc?

Yes you can wear all the gear you picked up with that OSTS gift card I got you.

As long as they're "legal" and won't break 90' I believe it's o.k., but the "Match Meister" will confirm.
He's setting up the match right now.

Yep

Why you gaming? :D

No this will be his first time shooting, so take it easy on him.

I thought this 3 Gun Rig was set in stone for you! Wait maybe this is your 5 Gun rig.....although......where is the shotgun?

Awesome, the red belt really sets the outfit off.

Guys I'm not going to make it I'm sick as a dog.
But ryan from SFRC will have a bunch of our Lucid. Optics on site to show off test our and buy.

that's too bad buddy.. was looking forward to shooting with you again.. long time.... if you're feeling better thru-out day drop by and bring us all some coffee :D Feel Better and see you soon...

Geoff and crew, awesome match as usual.

Sorry I didn't stick around to finish, had to run. And the way I shot stage 2 and 4, not shooting stage 1 isn't going to make a big difference on my score. :p

I learned a couple things this shoot.....
- a 25m zero and a ballistic program isnt the best for making shots at 200 and 300m, no matter how good the program is!
- I definitely have to listen better during walk throughs. Here I am, not shooting mickey, donald, and goofy, thinking I'm doing an awesome job until the scoring... lol

Regardless, lots of fun and as I've previously said, I HAVE to get to more matches with you guys!!

Excellent match...glad to see everyone again! I must thank SFRC...I realised late last night that I needed birdshot, and Ryan personally delivered them to me at the match...great service!!Not a big fan of pink shotshells, but hey, better than no shotshells...

What no scores yet???

:p

Thanks to everyone who made it out and once again thanks to the SO's. Big lesson of the day 300 yards is pretty far away! Oh and I love my tikka!

Finally got all my gear for my M&P so I'll be able to run her in the match.

Really looking forward to the match as it's gonna be my last kick at the can for probably the next 4 months.

knew you couldnt resist once you tried it....nice to have a conversion to the tupperware shooting team, w:h:

I look all over the place but couldn't find you today....:)

I saw u..That was me , hiding in the back of the seacan.... Renos at home going on ...i was hiding...(was unable to visit M at your place today :eek:like I have all week so seacan next best option ...cant afford match fees as leaving all my $$$ at your house. ) Trust you had a good promo of new product...any serpents lately? Blue ones?

Thanks for the snake, lol! I don't need any flash backs. You missed playing with the NEA AR's. Nice guns. Once the pre orders are shipped I'll keep one for myself as a demo gun and you can give it a try.

Geoff, FRPC and SO's thanks for the help and accomodating us for the NEA Demo Day.

Many thanks to Geoff and the crew at FRPC for another great match. Lots of creativity in the stage designs. 300 wasn't the problem....it was figuring out WTF to shoot at 300 :p Looking forward to next years matches. Will bring a cordless jigsaw to enlarge the ports instead of the AR !!
