I'd like to come to the 30th, maybe the 29th

Where are all the 1/4 minute of angle rifle? We had our first day at Cedar Springs range for the 1 MOA Challenge, exactly ZERO people showed up for this challenge. The weather was great with about 1/4 to 1/2 minute wind changes at 300m. Great day to confirm your wind zero.

I hope now that everyone is finished filling their faces with turkey and had a great Thanksgiving and we will try this agin on Oct 29-30.

I cant speak for anyone else, but I rarely get a weekend off, and if I had booked one off, it has been cancelled a couple of times now, so I would have been screwed. So dont get too disappointed if nobody shows up, I realize it's not your fault or anything, but it wouldn't be very convenient to book time off and drive 8 hours to find out it's cancelled.
You are more than welcome to come up to the eganville club and see my sub moa factory savage F/TR. I can guarantee that the shoot wont get cancelled last minute.

I had a great day and it appears my first time shooting my new load over 100 yards worked out pretty good. This is the plot sheet from where I shot the marker out of the target 2x in a row. Not all numbers are on there due to that fact that they were too close together :)

My plan is to come both days. Can I bring 3 rifles? I'd like to try it with my M14, AIA M10 and Rem700.

Yes, Oct 29 and 30 are written in stone by 31 Brigade G3 Op's and Trg, unless of couse Canada in invaded. Show up at 8 am for a 9am start time.

@Ishodu, I just wanted to say that is a fantastic plot sheet, what a great shoot! I expect you must have been pretty darn pleased with a target like that, good enough to win pretty much any match I've ever been to.

Got a few that said they were coming out. We are also hold our Club Championship at the same time, so there should be lots of activity going on.

Well this is the last weekend for this years 1 MOA Challenge at Cedar Spring. Bring out your 1/4 MOA rifles and shoot a 1 MOA, 10 shot group at 300m and I pay your guest fees and marker fees for the day.

We also have our Club Championship Match running this weekend so there should be lots of shooting activity going on both days.

Looks like rain tomorrow. If it clears by the afternoon, just come and practice? Otherwise I'll come on the sunny Sunday. Yes, whimp.

Just take rain gear. Long johns and all, and a good sweater and rain coat. Sometimes, if it's not too heavy and not coming from in the wrong direction ie., your 12, messes up the sights with water, both peeps and scopes, a rain shows the winds all the way to the target, then its just a matter of what holds longest and the pattern and picking the right one. I like a rain, even more so from under a cover like the ISSF matches and that nice tent :)

Just wanna throw out a big thank u to maynard for setting up a fun day at the range. Maybe next time ill keep to 1 moa if my scope doesn't slip. Anyway it was great fun and I learned alot

We had 2 brave souls that laid down their money in hopes of picking it back up at the end of the day by taking the 1 MOA Challenge. Thanks to brybenn and JRW (QOR) for coming out and giving it their best shot.

We did have at least 1 experienced shooter out on the weekend that shot a 1 MOA, 10 shot group, and a couple others that were really close. However these were shooters that were shooting the Club Championship Match and were not shooting factory rifles.

With all the hype on this I was hoping to get a few more shooters out to give this a whirl. I will put this challenge out again next shooting season and see if we can get a few more interested.

I would also like to send out a big congrats to Norm Barber for winning the F Class and Syxx15 for winning the TR.
