I hate to argue, but by law PTCFOR (Permit to Carry Outside Of Residence) holders are not allowed to carry in waist.. You must use a gun bag.

However, everybody ignores this law and carries with hidden holster.

If you happen to meet a LEO who cannot be bribed you can have your Permit taken away. (impossible since all LEOS in the Philippines are open to bribes)

Have you guys looked into these at all? They are made in the Philippines

In my opinion, you will have no problem at all selling a big pile of these. This has about the coolest old school WWII look out there for my taste. If they are reasonably accurate and at a decent price point, people should gobble these up. I would very happily take 2.

To me it looks more Mad Max or homemade then WWII :p

You could very well be right about that. It has a face only a mother could love, this is the reason I need to have two. Also nice to have the shooter better looking than their gun. There are a lot of beauties out there that would put me to shame, but this 'aint one of 'em.... You won't win any beauty contests with this one! That's why I think it's so damn cool. :)

So we got pricing back on the Floro MK9.

Very expensive unfortunately. Our own cost for these is well above our estimates for end-user retail price!

If we wanted to make any kind of profit they'd have to be sold at 1600. Too expensive for what your getting IMO, the value just isn't there.

from the back of my current PTC acquired MAY 2011.
Conditions printed at the back of the PTC card are:

Pursuant to the existing rules and regulations, this Permit to Carry Firearm Outside of the Residence is issued to the following conditions:

1.) This Permit is non-transferable.
2.) The firearm must not be displayed or exposed to public view.
3.) The firearm shall not be brought inside public drinking and amusement places and all other commercial establishments; and
4.) The unexpired license or authority to posses the firearm must always be carried with this permit. Expired license must be renewed.

*Violations of any of the above conditions will nullify or invalidate this Permit and the Firearm License, and the holder shall be charged for infringement of the law, if evidence warrants.

It doesn't say there that it has to be inside a bag etc, it just have to be CONCEILED. I personally deposited my double stack cal. 45 coming from my waist, unload the firearm,(with announcement that I am depositing a firearm before even touching my gun)show my PTC to authorities in the malls even in court, camp crame etc. without any problem whatsoever.authorities back ther are not eagerly concerned about LEGAL gun owners but rather to criminals. about the corruption, it just depends how you handle yourself and know your rights. I go there every year or two for a couple of months, I own a couple of handguns( two of them have PTC's),shotties and automatic rifles(one also have a PTC and is always at the backseat of my car) I've encountered checkpoints which is brutal but after verifying the permits everything's fine.

Yes, each firearm is registered and renewed regularly. Unlike here, all you need is a R/PAL so you can buy anything within your restrictions. Licence is renewed every 5 years and you do not have to re-register your firearms after a certain period. I wish they would open the licensing of the "Prohibited Class" on a limited and case-to-case basis so we can avail of full-autos and compact pistols.

x2

Are you sure?

Private sales, inheritance and everything requires annual re-registration.

This is even worse than the registry we are getting rid of.

I would prefer to be given the opportunity to earn a licence for full auto and another for concealed carry -- and avoid registration altogether.

If I had my druthers. :(
