In flat earth and the long rail, the XCR-M Standard 18.6" barrel looks as good as an FN FAl but it the XCR-M Mini 13" barrel does look much better!
I can't wait for the XCR-M 308 Win pistol

Looks really good with the new stock.
If the accuracy of the XCR-M is decent I might consider one. But I'll be waiting a while.

Here's the one I liked in the build it. Heavy 18.6" barrel with compensator and in Tan.

I'll be following the reviews on the XCR-M. It looks like recoil is fairly minimal, but I haven't seen anything on accuracy yet.

I'm curious as to where you guys get this "doesn't match the reliability of an AR" comment from as far as I am concerned it is a load of spewing without a basis to it...

You should have been at the Tactical Response rifle courses in Peace River in May of this year. The XCRs had more than a few issues in comparison to the ARs and VZs to put it lightly.
