Not trying to start an argument or hijack the thread, but how do you figure it's NOT an A1 upper?

Not trying to start an argument or hijack the thread, but how do you figure it's NOT an A1 upper?
Well as an update, I have finished my AR project. I finally picked up an A1 grip and a 5/20 Colt magazine. Coupled with the tear drop forward assist and the triangular handguards/ A1 sights I think I am pretty close for a retro build. Its not as "high speed low drag" as other AR's with all of the lights and lasers, but it sure is light and accuracy wise Id put it up against other iron sighted AR's.
There are still some obvious short comings Im sure some of you will recognize, such as the lack of mag fencing, the heavier 1/7 barrel and the later style buttstock.
