Another 9.3X62 bear, now with recovered bullet picture.

Do you hang the bear overnight? Is it just you hunting? That sucker looks real heavy. Do you use ropes to move it?

beauty bear. awsome story and pics too. im lucky enough to have a fiancee who loves to come along with me and enjoys the outdoors as much as i do too.

That is a great pic Ted, your smile makes me smile :)

Ted; Your pics truly show what hunting is all about.
Spending the time with your wife just adds to the experience, IMHO.
Beautiful bear, BTW. Congratulations.
Did you see any moose?
Regards, Eagleye

Thanks Eagleye. No moose. It was -8C on the river, and all the sloughs and backeddies were frozen up. They are headed for the high country, and rightly so. Why stay down on the river, when there is all that good grub up higher?

We actually went, figuring we might bump into a nice bruin. Certainly were blessed to find this old guy. Skull scores 25 1/8" green.

Wow! Great pics and story. The shot of the fire, coffee pot and tent out in the wilderness makes me wonder why I am sitting in a motel room. I haven't even been out hunting anything this Fall. Shameful state of affairs.

Thank you for sharing your experience! :)

WOW you rock partner ... love your stories ... love your pics ... love that you do it all with your love! Cheers to you and her as you both rock,
