That would be a very nice rifle for the 17 Hornet, it would be hard to resist.

CZ would be my first choice as well but this may be a good reason to buy my first Savage. I suspect Ruger will offer something as well. Even a Weatherby Vanguard would get my attention. Would like to see someone offer this in a lever action as well.

Over a buck a shot to plink gophers is far from cheap. Hopefully dies and load data will follow soon. A fellow can burn a little powder on a gopher field in the prairies.

Yeah, cause I could never reload a .17, with my fat, stubby fingers and thumb!
