you make the best reviews man. keep'em coming!
What kind of shooting mat is that, and where do you get it? Nice piece of kit (the rifle)
I like to argue with Jerry that Sightron are not as good as NF - but seriously, they are half the price and are really friken good. No doubt, Sightron are great value and this one is really, really close to my NF in same mag range. Heck. It may bne just a bit bet........ No, I can't admit it.
I would have to strongly agree that the Sightron SIII's are much better (in clarity and focus) then the NF scopes...at any price range. I owned 2 NF NXS's and the day I looked through a Sightron SIII was the same day I sold off my NF scopes and bought a Sightron. No way I could justify the cost of the NF when the Sightron out-preformed it. NF still puts out a nice product, but the value-per-$ just isn't there for me.
Sightron scopes are most definitely worth the money...My 2 cents
...Nice rig![]()
I have three of each now. The nf is hands down a better scope. but the sightron is a better value. Just because a rock looks the same through both at 200m blah...blah...blah, means f-all!Now you've got me curious about the Sightron SIII scopes. I have three Nightforce scopes and why I switched to the NF was because of the finer details I noticed. Things like the 4" of eye relief and it's very easy to get on target without having to have your eye perfectly lined up, the robust turret caps that are very precise, the easy to crank on power ring together with the eye piece so you can grab it with your gloved hand, the reticle (NPR-1) makes total sense, I can be accurate with it and of course it speaks the same language as the turrets do. (the big problem I had with the MK4) That pissed me right off!!
If Jerry is willing to send me one to test, and send back, I'd be willing to put one on my custom 308 and 50cal and give you guys some feedback.
Thanks for sharing your gun review with us. I also like reading about the details that went into a nice bui

Condor ( copy of Eagle ). Available quite a few places inc ebay. Voodoo Tactical make one also which IMO is a bit better if you lug more than just the rifle around. I have both but usually use Condor at range since other stuff in in separate gear bag but if outside VT gets the nod.

The NF/Sightron joke(debate) is an old one. When it arrives, I will be putting a S+B PMii 12-50x56 on the Stiller - that will end the discussion![]()
