An Armed Security Guard version of our 100 course is now under way We are more than willing to offer additional dates for this class, as needed.
Defensive Handgun-200 This is our second level course which seeks to refine the lessons learned in our 100 course and introduces the students to new skills such as moving in all directions, turns - left, right and 180, close contact shooting, various ready positions and after action assessments (Breaking Tunnel Vision). On each of the days the student will shoot a skills test. The student must have completed a course similar to our 100 course.
Defensive Handgun-300 This course focuses upon dealing with a criminal assault including options, choices and tactics. The course will deal with "bad breath" distance assaults, mid range assaults and longer range situations (beyond Tueller Drill distances). Only about 150 rounds of live ammo will be used in some of the discussions of the "Bad Breath" distances assault and all of the longer distance situations. All of the mid range and some of the "bad breath" distance assaults will be taught using Airsoft guns. The goal of this course is to assist the student in evaluating what works for them in a variety of situations. We will also be introducing the student to some real life scenarios to further test their new skills. This is not a beginners course and prior training that covers the content of our 100 and 200 courses is recommended.

What are you looking for in a Pistol Course?
Thanks for the replies
I'd like to learn as much as I can in a course. Everything from reviewing my current grip to better techniques in reloading and moving between targets. I'm pretty new to the sport and can benefit from almost anything.

Why not take the black badge course? If not to shoot IPSC in the future, the course is a great training course, and teaches good fundamentals.
Which sport you are interested in? Bullseye, PPC, Action Pistol, IDPA, IPSC? Last four will require holster qualification, like Black Badge course (though for IDPA they say a quick safety briefing is enough).
