should i sell my mini-14 to buy a su-16?

Sell it and buy a M14...

The keltec s**t is cheap and lame to boot...

I'm not talking m14 here... Cause the mini-14 is my coyote gun. Plus I already have a m14 so I don't want/need a second one.

Also on a sixe not about ket-tec I have a ds edition rfb and it is pfobably the fardest most people wil ever go from laim went it comes to guns! Some people may call ket tec , cheap, unrealyable and so on, but it is defenatly not lame :p! My 2 cents

Can't compare it to a Mini but I am very happy with my SU-16. Ran boxes of MFS through it last weekend with just one FTF. Being able to use LAR-15 mags doesn't suck and it is proving to be very accurate as well.

If you want a gun that is lightweight, folds to nothing, can use AR mags, it's not a bad choice IMO.

If you really want the SU-16, do what I do.

Put $100 aside in a sealed container to start off a fund.

Then add to it every pay day a bit at a time.

As others have said, keep the Mini-14. Keep all your firearms. Your Grand Kids will appreciate them in a few decades.

Keep the mini, save for the kel-tec, spend the money on 2000 rnds of .223 instead and become the most amazing shooter ever.

+1 on putting liberal stickers on it too. In fact, send in a photo of you with the gun explaining you need stickers to put on your gun.

Trade it with my PLR 22 - cheap ammo and it's a Keltec! Better looking than SU-16. Looks exactly like PLr-16. Mine's fully dressed with flash hider, forend cover, magpul forend, and NCstar reticle scope with quick release base!

pm me if interested. :) :)

Let the haters hate.
My Kel-tec is as accurate as I can do with a reddot. (1" at 50yds)
Weighs just over 5lbs.
Folds down to 26" and fits in my drybag and hiking pack.
Takes cheap 10 shot magazines.
It's the cats meow and the one of my 20 guns I shoot and reload for the most. Except maybe for my Glock.

you better sell that mini-14, I hear they are a prohib assualt rifle that kill 25 times more people than any other firearm. They also heatseek infants and old people! At least you don't have the "shoulder thing that goes up"...

Insert Humor here :)
I dig your Mini, keep it

I also read (here on CGN) that it can shoot through a wall of solid diamonds.

*Flame Suit On* People are going to light me up like a Christmas Tree for this, but I always equate the Mini to the AK (I have owned both, so if you haven't, save the "AK is the most deadly, reliable firearm ever made" crap for someone else who hasn't) - neither one does anything all that well - not incredibly accurate, not amazingly powerful, but they both go bang when you need them to are accurate enough for use as a weapon, and a turtle can be taught to use on properly in an afternoon. I wouldn't trade that for an unknown product with not a lot of track record, especially now that mags are widely available for Mini's.

What kills Mini14's for me is: 5 round mags.

Once you go LAR-15, you never go back.

I just wish there was a decently priced AR mag- gun. They're all way too expensive.
