wouldnt it it be better if some one broke into her car with a kit to unlock doors like the towing has and hide under a blanket a fully auto ak or something of the sort loaded wifh a found chamberd and the call th cops?

You could sell it and buy one of these

If I had the money I would of bought one of these.

My friend has a ASI Mini14, I really like it. Accurate to boot. Not sure how hard it would be to get them accurized in the states now a days though.
He is also considering buying SU16.

Both are just the right length, and both shoulder well.
The mini14 has better looks imo

The SU16 has a couple gimmicks, but it's a nice rifle overall.
Personally, for coyotes, 5shots is lots, so if your mini-14 is good enough then there is no need to sell it for a su16.

Buy both.

All the Mini 14s that I've seen jammed like s**t in a plugged toilet.

That said, the liberals hate them, so you'd better hold onto it.

I own both these rifles and wouldn't sell either of them. My Mini-14 has run flawless to date as has my su-16. The Mini is heavy compared to the Su but has a long established track record for reliability and durability. Both are accurate and go boom when i need them to. Plus I like have having 2 rifles with the same chambering.

Were the mags being used in the rifles aftermarket ones? A lot, if not most of the problems with Mini-14s jamming or misfeeding can be attributed to aftermarket mags. That being said, I've not had any problems so far with either my steel or polymer Promag mags, nor my polymer TAPCO mags.

Well, figured I'd update this with a half assed range report.
With the falcon 1.5-5x scope, I was able to get about 1" @ 50yrds
At 100yrds, was about 2-3"
That was shooting with a low magnified scope, sitting in the back of a truck @ a crappy target.
Friend figured 2moa is very doable with a good scope and better shooting position.

He has the ASI mini14 that prints 1" groups @ 100yrds, and now he wants to buy a su16 after shooting mine.
It really needs a sling though.

I'll probably be sighting it in again this weekend with some 40rd winchester packs.

I've had only two stoppages in my Mini 14, and those were traced back to the magazines. They were a pair of metal no-names, and they were junk.

I since got some better mags and they work flawlessly.

I just completed having an A1-style flash hider installed on mine:
