Hello all, long time reader and shopper however first time poster. I have been in search of a 1911 and fell in love with the Para canadian forces 1911, especially the Kandahar edition. Does anyone know what the story was on these? do they still make this special edition? i would love to get my hands on one.

Just a fair warning. The co sold those pistols to dudes for around $700 and they all seem to want $4 or 5 hundred more than they paid for them.....Dudes think they are a super rare item but tons were made and they are generaly highly overpriced..........

That is the key here, if you pay more than 750$ on the EE, you are being ripped off since that is what about the seller paid for it.

Most owners were extremelly disapointed with them.
 
There are way too many way to get heart attack....Buy a Para being one them. many members here waited almost one year to get their ugly pos edition and sell them two weeks later. The most hot selling item on the EE.

thanks for the input guys, yeah i saw the 3200 dollar one too and almost s#!t. I dont think i will be getting one of those. i just went out to the range and test drove the sig and the rem, both are nice, i liked the sig better but i honestly cant tell you why...... just because..... is that a good enough reason? however the kimbers are just effin ###y.

If the colour is what you are after, look at a sig scorpion. Questar has them in stock now. Good looking gun, gets solid reviews too.
