These are a couple of my shooters
These two are shooters (hence the uncleaned power residue from the last trip to the range still visible).
The first is a Colt Officer's Model .38 Heavy barrel, equipped with mother of pearl grips. I apologise for the lousy pictures. They were taken in setting-sun light. They don't do justice to the stunning facets and colours that come from those grips.
My SAA shooter is this Uberti Model 1873 Cattleman in .357 Magnum. The finish on this gun is known as "Antique". It comes brand new essentially as you see it. This gun was purchased new with a warranty just 5 years ago.

The holster is made by Milt Sparks holster although the model they make of it today has a covered trigger area.
I've posted this elsewhere but in the mid 70's I visited Elmer for a day at his home in Salmon Idaho and had him pose for a picture by my truck as we were getting ready to leave.
I sent this picture to Milt Sparks and asked if they'd make me a copy, as in the photo which they did.
Wow Johnn...that's really cool.
It must have been quite something to visit with Elmer.

To date it goes down as my most memorable day concerning anything dealing with firearms and the associated shooting sports.
Unfortunately I do suffer from fully developed fascination for the S&W wheelguns. My problem is that I like 4" barrel the best, especially on model 10...which I can't own in the original configuration of course. Yes, it's prohibited. So, here is my latest attempt of fulfilling my dream of owning one.
BTW if any of You know about model 10 with the original, unmodified, heavy barrel that is restricted (I've heard about such cases) and is willing to sell it, I'm ready to give You good price for one in good condition. I also have some other, nice revolvers that I may trade for such gun. I love working guns, not so much love for the target models though. Two more of the revolvers from my collection here:
BTW if any of You know about model 10 with the original, unmodified, heavy barrel that is restricted (I've heard about such cases) and is willing to sell it, I'm ready to give You good price for one in good condition. I also have some other, nice revolvers that I may trade for such gun. I love working guns, not so much love for the target models though. Two more of the revolvers from my collection here:
That is one, amazing, collection. In a free country, that collection could handle just about any hunting situation.

Here is a couple of 44 magnums i just bought.
Have to say I like them both for different reasons. I find the stainless easier to shoot, the grip suits me better. The older blued one hurts the hand a little.
I think the older blued one is ###y looking though, love the look of those wood grips, totally dirty harry look. I have to say the trigger on the old one is finer as well, on single action.
The blued one is a 29-3 with 6 inch barrel. Made in 1984

Now that I have everyone's attention: I've got a 629-1 stainless with a 6 inch barrel that was bought to replace one that I sold years ago and always regretted
The problem is that the previous owner replaced the original cocobolo target grips with Pachmayrs...
Has anyone got an extra set of the original cocobolo grips around that they want to sell? I'll even send the Pachmayrs back to ya - who knows maybe ya all like them...
