That thing's a beauty! Do they even make 'em in blued any more? Between that and blued GP100s, Ruger revolvers look sweet as hell in blue.

The holster is made by Milt Sparks holster although the model they make of it today has a covered trigger area.
I've posted this elsewhere but in the mid 70's I visited Elmer for a day at his home in Salmon Idaho and had him pose for a picture by my truck as we were getting ready to leave.

I sent this picture to Milt Sparks and asked if they'd make me a copy, as in the photo which they did.
Wow Johnn...that's really cool.It must have been quite something to visit with Elmer.
Nice collection. In terms of your Puma, did you just replace the front sight with an over the counter fibre optic? And, I really like the stock...where/how did you acquire that?
"Antiqued" Uberti 1873 SAA .45 Colt 5 1/2 inch barrel, really like shooting this one.

Here is a couple of 44 magnums i just bought.
Have to say I like them both for different reasons. I find the stainless easier to shoot, the grip suits me better. The older blued one hurts the hand a little.
I think the older blued one is ###y looking though, love the look of those wood grips, totally dirty harry look. I have to say the trigger on the old one is finer as well, on single action.
The blued one is a 29-3 with 6 inch barrel. Made in 1984

Beautiful display of weaponry !
Now that I have everyone's attention: I've got a 629-1 stainless with a 6 inch barrel that was bought to replace one that I sold years ago and always regretted
The problem is that the previous owner replaced the original cocobolo target grips with Pachmayrs...
Has anyone got an extra set of the original cocobolo grips around that they want to sell? I'll even send the Pachmayrs back to ya - who knows maybe ya all like them...![]()
