Me too... looks like a Barnes TTSX in .270

it's an 80 grain TTSX in a 25-06, and a Hornady 200 grain Interlock in a whelen. Should be good for about 3700/2800fps respectively. The classic 'speed' vs 'mass' matchup.

I'll prolly pack both during next years season, at varying times. But now that it's the off-season, it's time to do some serious load development for next year!

Yes but the blue ones are much faster and quieter so the deer don't know it's coming...

You won't see a difference. Assuming proper shot placement, the deer will fall over and die, regardless of what you shoot it with.

Hit a deer in the right spot with either one, and soon you'll be eating venison backstaps.

Now, the smaller blue one will have less arc, and so it'll be easier to connect on the further shots with it.
