Put down the wallet and step away from the keyboard before its to late.

Get a better stock, bed it properly with devcon, throw in a match spring guide rod, make your own bullets and then you're good to go. Just follow the ample amounts of guides posted here, not hard really.

Anything else is kind of extra unless you want bolt action accuracy... in which case you'll be better off just buying a bolt gun.

wait so my archangle stock is no good thought were it was super tight that would be good.I am getting a reloading kit for xmas so that will set that right

These 2 things do nothing for accuracy but reading the stickies will.
;)

1. Read & understand all the stickies at the top of this forum.
2. Decide what you want to achieve and if it is within your budget.
3. Attend one or two of Hungry's M14 clinics to get a hands-on understanding.
4. Proceed with wallet in hand.
5. Consider getting into reloading.
Good luck. ;)

i have been shooting for a couple months on my m14 with irons and doing good i think. My range is only 100 yards so doing the best i can probley going the weekend weather premiting.

3.5" groups is realistic for an "accurized" M14. Over that and some tweaking is needed. Under that and you have a rifle that would PASS the prerequisite for a US national match marksmans rifle.
First step is to tighten everything up and correctly adjust the trigger. Then find a stock that can be bedded to the rifle.

The promag stock is a "precision molded" M1A stock, it is NOT a precision shooting stock. It has adjustable ergonomics that can make the shooter more comfortable. The promag also requires modifications for the chinese rifle that if not done correctly , will actually negatively affect accuracy.
I've got a correctly altered archangel stock in the EE if anyone is interested. :D
