Other than 200 guns in Haiti or wherever some pathetic banana-republic wanna-be police used it as a half-@ssed patrol carbine, someone PLEASE explain to me where the Mini-14 has ever been a combat rifle?!?!
 
Benelli's MR1 takes the title the way I see it.

Wonky barrel, difficult to use controls, and nothing really great about it.

And there's hardly any goodies to slap on it.

All the others have tons of lego you can slap on there for all sorts of purposes including no reason at all. Regardless of what anyone thinks of spending 6 times the cost of your gun on accessories, those things are all out there on the market because people are buying them.

My wife buys purses and jewlery. I accessorize with gun parts!
 
Saw a picture and read an account of a flashy Mini-14 being used in Rhodesia in the late 70's. May have been a private security contractor type and not regular army, but for sure the guy carrying it was an American vietnam vet. There was mention of mini being used in combat in the story related to the picture. But its all fuzzy as I saw the picture and read the story years ago.

You should love the XCR then, its great for your income. :DCustomers will need to buy, everything for it. Win, Win/ See its not so bad afterall. Now if you became an XCR repair guy as well you would be rich.:eek:;)
 
Hmmm the receiver itself only has two screws and a bunch of hmmm pins or something? Not sure how to explain.

Anyways, yea, it was a concern but user feedback and personal experience says it's reliable.
I wonder how many others are voting without actually handling the rifle they're voting for.
Gotta love the internet.

Haha, touche. ;) You got me thinking and I can't recall a specific case of "buyer's remorse"; the closest I can recall is a CX4 Storm in .45ACP that for whatever reason just seemed less than exciting. I had a few Magpul goodies left and figured this would be a fun way to hand out some of them...
