Cooper .284WIN vs .280AI

Redding has both dies,I'd talk to them before I ordered.I have a pre SAAMI .280AI and the older Redding dies are just fine.I have been using Nosler brass with no issues. Mur

the only pro for the 284 is if you put in a short action
the con you will lose fps
i have had both and would prefer the 280ai. you can load very close to the speed of a 7 mag/7saum/wsm.

.284 is a cool cartridge but the .280ai used to be cool until everybody started using it.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with this but why does a7mm RM rifle have such a high $$$ over a .280AI?

The 7mm Rem Mag. is only available in the Model 56.

The Model 56 is way cooler than the Model 52 therefore you pay alot more for it.

I could be wrong on that.

I've been told the Cooper is SAAMI spec.

Found out that the Cooper 280AI is chambered with an older spec reamer.

I will have to fireform Nosler brass too.

No sweat, just load them up and go! You can shoot targets or game with fire forming loads. Do it all the time.
