I picked up my first box of .357 the other day and by chance noticed that one round shows a couple of dents in the brass. The box and styrofoam are pristine, so it must have happened before it was packed. I'm new to anything but .22 and shotguns, so I'm not sure how common this is or what I should do with it. Can I fire it if it'll chamber, or am I asking for a jam/worse? If I can't fire it, what can I do with it? The corresponding gun is on order, so no rush to find out - a revolver, if that matters. It's Winchester 110gr JHP.
I ran a few searches, but I've only found entries about damaged case mouths on the reloading forum.
Thanks
