We all know that the triggers on the axis/edge require a wee bit of pull to make these rifles go bang. I've been seeing a lot of posts of people modifying these triggers by cutting a coil off of the spring on the trigger mechanism.
My concern is how this will affect the safety of this gun. Having a trigger let go when the rifle is bumped or otherwise can be a little unpleasant ot say the least and if the user is not practicing safe handling a tragedy can occur.
Is the method that has been promoted as of late safe ? IMHO I would leave things factory or buy a proper trigger upgrade such as a Basix or Timney.
