If NEA offered a short run of 14.5" barrels with traditional rifling and the C8 outer profile and parkerized finish, they would be pretty popular in Canada.

I sent them an PM about that. They can do it but have no time to take on anything new. Advised me to contact DLASK which I did.

How hard is your "arc" finish on tooling when the barrel is reprofiled?

It's pretty hard, but it's not real deep. It'd still be a little rough on tools but once you got through the hardness it'd be ok. The drill bits we use to do the gas ports are about $25 ea.
