Made in China.......
Correct, I did not buy, touch, hold or see one. Just going on the logical deduction they are not the same thing.
It's not like we are talking about a $5000 piece of gear that has been found for $200, we are talking about less than a $300 difference!
And it is not a matter of it being worth it. An item being worth it normally has little to do with its price tag. Worth it is in the eye of the guy paying the bills...
I'm not trying to bash anyone (sorry of I came off like that). I would think there would be some major concerns about wrapping a real handgun in an airsoft kit! No matter how well it seems to be built.
I for one am not an expert in polymers and their performance or degradation under stress, temperature or general use.
Blaxsun already expressed his thoughts, these are mine, YMMV
f**king lol.. didn't take long.
So the rest of you gona keep using these wanabe roni kits after viewing that picture? I predict many flinches![]()
For all the "I told you so" guys....relax. I would suggest that perhaps ZReturns start another thread to bring this to light before someone is injured. Sitting back laughing orat people who tried to save a few bucks is counter productive i think. Warn them!!
Glad you're okay. Once I found out these were airsoft I thought it was sketchy to use with centre fire.
Hate to say I told you..........ah forget it.
It seems like a weird place for it to break and I' surprised that it exploded and blew in your face.
I'm glad you're ok, Z.
I will continue to shoot mine though. Sometimes failures happen. However I will be extremely cautious and vigilantly watching for changes.

You should actually get yourself a Roni in your hands so you understand how it is built and also how you assemble it!My thoughts exactly. The break looks more like over tightening of the assembly screw than a blow out. The portion of the kit that the bullet and expanding gasses travel through looks to be intact with no residue from the gases.

Man, there's so much fail here (where to begin)... the toy kit exploded right where the owner indicated he felt some rapid heat buildup. I specifically cautioned about heat and shock impact on the polymer. I can't believe you guys are still trying to defend and justify the use of these kits...
Mods - I think we're running dangerously close to criminal liability here. Before someone seriously injures or kills themselves with one of these kits, I think this thread should disappear.
