They had that stuff on the shelf at the local shop in Indiana last year. It isn't that new, just slow getting up here...
I believe it's like N570 in the sense that it's kernels are HUGE, which limits it to applications with very big cases. Smaller calibers that are overbored can't necessarily take advantage of it because the kernel size limits how much of it you can stuff into a case.
That could be the case, and I'm eager to see for myself. Quickload lists it as being very dense, even moreso than US869 (a ball powder), and about the slowest powder available, next to 20N29.
