G17 Gen. 3 Vs G17 Gen 4

I'm looking to pick up a new G17 but am not sure which one is better, Gen. 3 or 4?

From what I understand the Gen. 4 are having some issues with shell ejecting?

Any info is appreciated.

Glock 34 gen 4... Nah, just joking. I'm loving the grip of the gen4! Even my wife loves the ZERO grip (smallest size without the 2 additional backstraps)

Gen4 all the way! better grip texture, more ergonomic, better mag release button.

Gen4. It's my first pistol and I like the grip, sizes in grip, mag release works great, no problems. The dual recoil spring is supposed to be better than the single recoil spring.

I love my gen 3 but either one is good choice, We do have many happy gen 4 user here. But if you are going to get a gen 3, better hurry out because they won't last.

I just bought a gen 4 glock 17 and I love it and no problems with it.

Gen 4 glock 17 was my first pistol and I love it. No issues with it either. Always reliable.

My only concern is the issue with the casing ejection problems. So far no-one has mentioned them. Has this problem been corrected or did it even exist at all?

I don't notice a difference ejecting at all between them, just that I like the G3 rtf the best.
