Any interest in an SKS Clinic within the GTA?

I would be very interested in seeing about the trigger job.

Here ya go free of charge. This is the most complete information on how to do a proper SKS trigger job. To get together as a group that are interested in the SKS is fine but to charge for information that is easy to find on the net is wrong, just wrong.

... you can learn just about anything and everything on the internet so I don't get your point?!

You can even download textbooks and really get your learning on... but who wants to do that?

I would be interested, I finially just cleaned my SKS over the weekend. I would have never thought i would have enjoyed it so much. I want to take it apart tonight if I have time.
PS.. Any idea of location and time?
Silly question, would we bring our own SKS? I have never been to a "clinic" but it would be nice to do it at a place where we could maybe shoot them afterwards.

I've never been to a clinic either nevermind hosted one so I don't want anyone holding any false pretenses.

This is the sort of thing where you would bring your own rifle and follow along as we make our way through the itinery.

It seems like there's enough interest in this though - I'll have to do some research and work out some details....

To be continued......

If you host it, they will come! :) So will I. For a price around that area you cant go wrong really. A lot can be taken from the internet but being given tips and tricks by long time shooters and being shown these things in person can be invaluable!

If it works out that I am in Toronto at that time ,I will likely just buy another one there and bring it back instead of dragging one up there and back, ;0) I only have 5 and still need a 52 , 53 and a 56. Sooo win, win!

SKS clinic

It's true that there is a lot on the internet about the sks rifle. These forums are great for information too!

It is not so much that a clinic is necessary but it is an opportunity for direct hands on training. If you screw up on something someone is there to help you out I just got my sks yesterday and have started cleaning off the cosmoline. Looking forward to taking it to a range.

Count me in on attending a clinic.
