It all depends upon whomever shows up that day, and which Division they've decided to shoot in (on that particular day). Don't worry about it. Buy whichever model you prefer.
 
I voted other but will expand on that by saying "any Glock in 9x19". I've owned them all and have to say the 19 is my personal favorite (even though I don't currently own one - I do still have a 17 that I'm seriously thinking of chopping to a G19 grip size).

Other than that I'd have to say G20 if you might have to shoot something of any size. I sold both of my 10mm Colts and have been pining for another "Centimeter" - looks like Glock will get the nod...

I am totally agreed. The G34 and G35 are way better gun when compared to the G17.

I voted for the original! The G17! It's what got the ball rolling and to me, it's the best model they make.
 
Have shot many Glock models and they are ALL exceptional.

For me, the G34 is it. There isn't a pistol I've tried to date that enables me to shoot like this. It's that far and above everything else......for me ;)

I have a couple Glocks in the inventory, but I just got a brand new Gen4 G35 on Tuesday, fired 200 rounds though it that day. And while I haven't shot it much yet I can already tell its gonna be hard to beat. The improvement in the Gen4 grip is substantial in my opinion and the new dual RSA makes 40 feel like 9mm
