What the....? No thread on the big Wolverine surplus sale?

I suspect it may be an old Globco import.... I think they were known for chopping mags.
Any insight into this? You know these better than I ever will.

When I first saw the SVT I thought Finn capture for sure. Good luck with it Joe! And yes that Nambu was $1400. A whole new ballpark for Nambu prices in Canada

They are around, but there are reproductios out there as well. Will keep an eye open for one.
Can you put an original flip site on a German police carbine?
How hard is it to get an original/standard rear site for that M1 carbine?

Squeeze! They arent making any more thats for sure. If one can go for $1400 now, what will yours be worth in a year? 5 years? etc...

The scary thing is what if the Lie-berals had got in.
Remember Paul Martin made the announcement (5-6 years ago) that he was going to ban all handguns. Then the Conservatives got in with their Minority Gov't.

Then handgun sales went through the roof!

Just saying though, handguns could be worth nothing depending on which party gets voted in, in the future. :runaway:

Any thoughts on that G43 rifle? Someone better buy it before I pull the trigger, and I definitely cannot afford it!

Thanks guys...what makes SA marked SVt40s desireable? Is it the fact it was captured during the Finnish winter war?
True battle pick up:D I had the eyes for the MAS 49 but wasnt quick enough. I forgot about the svt, have another thing in my mind. Now i wait monday to make an offer about something. Lot of stuff i wanted but cant afford. Be sure to post pics of your SVT finn capture or not, we want to see:)

On those Bavarian Police M-1 Carbines, they milled off the rear sight mounting area, so a Military rear sight will not fit it. It is probably worth more as a Police Carbine than a bastardized M-1 though.
