Got a phone call from Hical this morning. Stock is on it's way! Great guys to deal with.
For those of you who weren't on the original pre-order list apparently they are getting another shipment in in a couple of weeks.

What are they like to disassemble for cleaning? Looks like it might be pain to take it all apart after every trip to the range.

With corrosive ammo it is. I have a mini 30. 4 screws isn't bad though I can deal with that.

Do these stocks fit the Target model minis? The barrel is heavier, but only forward of the gas block, so I'm thinking they would work. Anyone know for sure?

This group was shot with my Ruger mini in 6.8 SPC. Based on your criteria, I guess it can go in my truck. I don't know if the Sparta stock will make an even more stable platform but I doubt it will increase group sizes. We'll find out next week!

I am not a mini 14 owner i do like the look of the stock (wonders if it is comfortable). watched a few vids of takedown for mini 14 lots of parts. so now that it is encased in a pretty stock with locktight on the screws how often do you clean it? how many rounds before it screams clean me I don't wanna work no more.
