Savage Axis LH

Bloody south paws always wanting more. Learn to shoot both ways, then it doesn`t matter which side of the truck your on.;):nest:[/QUOTE

For those of us that think with both sides of our brain it's nice to have the option of a gun that's made just for us!!!:kickInTheNuts::)

I shoot both ways, but now that's funny I don't care who you are.:D

New for 2012 savage is releasing a LH version of the Axis rifle series. Does anyone in the CGN community know of a dealer that is going to be ordering and stocking these? Thanks!

Omineca Source for Sports ordered some in a few cartridges. ETA of May

I shoot right handed firearms although I am a left. Its how I tought myself. Call me wacked by I prefer using a RH bolt action then a left. I do it so smoothly I'm told. LOL

I shoot both left and right. It makes no difference to me either. I have a son however that is a lefty and left eye dominant as well. I'm going to teach him to shoot left. I'd like one in .223 to get him started. Cheers,

T

I do the same. Lots more choice as well. Left handed guns feel goofy to me

You know what's even goofier than that? Using your left hand to switch gears on a manual transmission car, unless you're driving in the UK that is...It can be done but what's the sense?

I used to pride myself on how I could manipulate a RH bolt until the day I saved enough to buy a LH action, now I'll never go back. Plus, staring at the open end of a RH action, 4 inches from my face unnerves me a wee bit...

Dammit i bought a right handed axis in snow camo this winter in 223.
I bought it for calling coyotes but will hand it down to my daughter so i can get a lefty.

I must say as a right handed person i do a lot of stuff left handed. In some lines of work you need to be ambidextrous, i learned long ago to shoot both ways, can be real tough with a thumbhole stock though. Still it is fun to bug a couple of wrong handed buddies.:D

This is my concern. With the high pressure stuff we shoot in bolts it is a sensible concern. I don't mind my 10-22 spitting crap in my face but would I want a 300 Mag doing the same.

I purchased a lefty Lyman flintlock, that seemed like a good idea too.

Just checking out the specs and I noticed it doesn't have the Accutrigger, what sort of difference does that make?? I've never owned a Savage bolt action so I'm unfamiliar with the Accutrigger.
Love seeing new Lefty models coming out though, I finally got a brand new Lefty Browning Bar 30-06 a month or so ago my first pure lefty rifle... :)

Its quite amazing that there are folks that think nothing of telling a southpaw to learn to shoot rightie. Try putting a leftie rifle in the hands of a rightie and trying that bro. Geez the noise and blubbering just goes on and on. Try it some time and then come back with that. Walk a mile at my benchrest...

Same here. Pay a bit more but the only RH actions I will buy now are mil surps. I can't wait to drop my bear this spring with the LH A-bolt 270wsm I just picked up!:dancingbanana:
